Adobe's hindquarters drop again Adobe has downgraded its third quarter revenue target range to $270 to $290 million from its previously stated target of $300 to $320 million making it the fifth straight quarter with poorer than expected results. Adobe and Macromedia bury the palette Unless you've been away for a long time, you'd be aware that our two favorite graphics vendors have been at odds over various patent disputes mostly centering around the use of the palette system of option selection. Well, regardless of your loyalty in the great schism, the two companies have announced that they are no longer enemies after reaching a "settlement agreement on all litigation between the two parties". If only things were so easy in the West Bank.

XML tools gather speed XML editors have been leaping from the shadows in recent months following years of little activity bar high-end technical applications for the markup savvy. The Topologi editor was unveiled for the first time at Open Publish in Sydney this week to much acclaim and WebXSystems' UltraXML is steadily maturing at version 3.1. Pundits are predicting a shakeout in the coming months.

W4C - The Creative Web is a conference for creative professionals who design, develop and work with the Web in a creative capacity.
